Cairns Children's Festival presents Erth's Shark Dive

Plunge into the world of sharks and choose your own audio adventure as you dive below the surface and come face-to-face with these majestic creatures.

Erth’s Shark Dive is an interactive theatrical experience that brings you up close and personal with the much-maligned predator of the sea, created by world-renowned puppeteers, Erth Visual & Physical Inc.

Shoals of frenzied fish flee, a stingray scatters to make way for the awesome beauty of a 4-metre great white shark in this unique underwater environment.

No diving experience needed, but keep your eyes peeled and your mind open.

Relaxed performance information:

Relaxed performances will have reduced haze (some residual haze will still be in the space from earlier sessions), lighting can be increased, volume can be controlled on headphones, or played through speakers at an adjusted volume. The experience can also involve a sensory tactile exploration should that be requested. The team will work with each audience booked into the Relaxed Performances to understand individual access needs and respond accordingly to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience.
