Ticketing advice

  • The health and safety of our audiences and employees is of the utmost importance. We’re paying close attention to any updates from the Australian Government Department of Health and Live Performance Australia (LPA), the national peak body for the live performance industry.
  • In the event of any events being cancelled all tickets will be refunded, you do not need to contact Ticketlink.

Update #6 Thursday 26 March 2020

The Ticketlink Box Office will no longer operate on Saturdays until otherwise advised. This change is to take effect from this coming Saturday, 28 March 2020.

We will remain open Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm, however, as per our previous update, the box office remains closed to the public. We are available to assist via phone or email during our operating hours.

Our team is continuing to refund all tickets to events that have been cancelled.

Update #5 Monday 23 March 2020

Due to government restrictions, the Ticketlink Box Office is closed to the public from 12 pm Monday 23 March 2020 until further notice. Our team is continuing to refund all tickets to events that were scheduled to occur between mid-march and the end of May 2020. There is no need to contact Ticketlink.

Please note: Ticketlink staff will contact you if:

  1. You purchased using cash or EFTPOS to arrange your refund.
  2. You purchased using a credit card that has expired or been cancelled
  3. An event has been postponed to a later date. Ticketlink will email you in the coming days to ask for your preferred option, either a full refund or an exchange (keep the same seats for the rescheduled event). Please keep checking your emails

Update #3 Wednesday 18 March 2020.

All events at the Tanks Arts Centre and Cairns Performing Arts Centre until May 31, 2020, have been cancelled.

This is in response to the advice of Federal and State authorities regarding measures aimed at restricting the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following the Prime Minister’s announcement this morning of a ban on non-essential indoor gatherings of 100 people or more at indoor venues, Cairns Regional Council has made this decision regarding indoor events.

A full refund will be provided to the original ticket holder, if you paid by credit card you will automatically receive your refund to the card you paid with. If you paid by cash or EFTPOS Ticketlink staff will be in contact with you in the coming days to arrange your refund. There is no need to contact Ticketlink at this time, ticket holders are asked to be patient.

Update #2 Monday 16 March 2020.

Cairns Regional Council has revised existing capacity to under 500 people for events at Tanks Arts Centre and Cairns Performing Arts Centre for the near future. This follows the advice from the Australian Government regarding organised, non-essential gatherings to help slow the spread widespread community transmission of COVID-19.

How this will affect this week’s events:

The 91-Storey Treehouse performances at Cairns Performing Arts Centre scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 17 March 2020.
* 10am – No change - Tickets are still available – currently under 300 patrons
* 12pm - No change - Tickets are still available – currently under 450 patrons
* 6pm – Sold out, over 900 tickets sold. This show will go ahead, however, the last 400+ tickets purchased will be fully refunded, Ticketlink will contact ticket holders.

Grace Under Pressure - performance at Cairns Performing Arts Centre on scheduled for, Thursday 19 March 2020.
* No change – Tickets are still available (Studio capacity 380)

Moscow Ballet Sleeping Beauty - performances at Cairns Performing Arts Centre on scheduled for, Friday 20 – Saturday 21 March 2020
* Confirmation from promoter is pending.

The Black Sorrows – Tanks Arts Centre - Friday 20 March 2020
* This show will go ahead however the final 200+ ticket purchaser will be offered an opportunity to attend an earlier event in the day or have their ticket refunded - Ticketlink will contact ticket holders.

The East Pointers – Tanks Arts Centre - Saturday 21 March - Cancelled

This is subject change pending Federal and State agency advice.

Cairns Regional Council will be reviewing each ticketed event in the coming days. Any event cancelled will result in a FULL REFUND to the original ticket purchaser.

We understand if you would like more information at this time however please be patient and wait for Ticketlink to contact you regarding refunds rather than contacting us.

Another update will be available on Monday 16 March.

Please note: All events scheduled for this weekend at Tanks Arts Centre and Cairns Performing Arts Centre will go ahead as scheduled.
