Beyond the Darkside - 'Echoes Through the Decades' Tour
After Sell out concerts all around Australia including Sydney's Opera House concert hall, the ultimate of all Pink Floyd experiences Beyond the Darkside returns to Cairns Civic Theatre for just one night only on Monday April 19, staging a two hour live spectacle that captures all the excitement of a Pink Floyd show.
The new "Echoes Through the Decades Tour" will feature songs from 'Piper At the Gates of Dawn', 'Echoes', 'Dark Side of the Moon', 'Wish You Were Here', 'Animals', through to 'Momentary Lapse of Reason' with a heavy emphasis on 'The Wall' album.
This show will be so different to any of the past shows BTDS have previously performed in North Queensland as there are many new songs with more of an earlier Pink Floyd (Roger) feel to the sound and look of the band.
In typical Pink Floyd & Beyond the Darkside tradition the band will still be accompanied by a laser light show &, inflatable Pigs and other PF props with the sound presented in digital 5.1 surround sound.
This is definitely a show every Pink Floyd fan in Cairns should catch as shows from this act are becoming rarer in these parts of the country as BTDS grow more popular.
