‘It just had that vibe. That feeling that something special was about to unfold. Mumford & Sons played a packed out Oxford Art Factory earlier in the year. Tonight they had returned to a bigger and more accommodating venue in The Enmore. A sold out crowd were treated to one of the best gigs I have seen at The Enmore.’ – MusicFeeds

Secret Sounds is thrilled to confirm Mumford & Sons will return to wow audiences this October and will play an incredible 10 concerts across major metro and regional venues around the country! Kicking off in Perth on October 13, the band will perform in Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart, Melbourne, Canberra, Cairns and Townsville before their final show of the Australia Stopover Tour on the Gold Coast on October 31. Anyone who has been lucky enough to see them before, will tell you it is guaranteed to be one of the biggest and most exciting nights on the year’s live music calendar!

‘Those who missed tickets might have to try even harder to score one next time because the show was fantastic and to the rest of Australia who are yet to see Mumford & Sons – beg, borrow, steal or do whatever you need to because this show is one not to be missed.’ – FasterLouder

With ‘Sigh No More’ achieving phenomenal global success, Mumford & Sons have had a jaw dropping couple of years since its release in 2009. Having won a Brit and ARIA award and topping triple J’s Hottest 100 poll with the astonishing smash hit ‘Little Lion Man’, they were also nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize, a swag of Grammys and other notable awards. The good news is the wait will soon be over for fans as their highly anticipated sophomore album set for release in September.

"The preeminent Sarah Blasko will now join Mumford & Sons at Kuranda Amphitheatre in Cairns on Sunday 28th October, Townsville Convention Centre on Monday 29th October and Gold Coast Convention Centre on Wednesday 31st October. A musician of great integrity and artistic temperament who pushes creative boundaries across the arts, Sarah Blasko’s charismatic live show with a five-piece band is the perfect addition to this stellar line up.

The forthcoming self-produced album was recorded in Sweden at Atlantis studios. Additionally, she travelled to Bulgaria to enlist the services of the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra to create what is likely to be her most acclaimed and personal album to date. The album will be released later this year.

Tickets to the Mumford & Sons Australia Stopover Tour are now becoming scarce, with Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne all teetering on sold out. The Gentleman of the Road (A Camping Stopover) event in Dungog SOLD OUT within two days and now both shows at the Belvoir Amphitheatre in Perth have reached the same SOLD OUT status. With Australia one of the first countries to get a taste of the new album “Babel” in the live arena, fans are urged to get in quick.

Mumford & Sons’ recently revealed the first slice of their forthcoming album with single ‘I Will Wait’. It is a song that evolved alongside the band whilst on the road, and encapsulates exactly what Mumford & Sons do well. Listen to the track here: youtube.com/watch

" Also riding with Mumford & Sons this October (all ten shows) will be American singer-songwriter Willy Mason. With a sound that combines folk's soft and loose delivery which recalls Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash with an insightful narrative about growing up and finding one’s place. The critically acclaimed Mason returns to Australia to premiere songs from his third and as yet untitled album (his first in 5 years!), which includes the first taster ‘Restless Fugitive’.

In addition to these concerts, fans should stay tuned for another big announcement about a special one-off date as part of the Gentleman of the Road series.  Details of this unique event will be revealed in the coming weeks.  More information on Gentleman of the Road can be found here gentlemenoftheroad.com

With music we know and love full with enthusiasm and confidence plus a new album to boot, join Marcus, Country Winston, Ben and Ted this October and bare witness to '…their incredible energy drawing us in quickly to their circle of songs, to the warmth of their stories, and to their magical community of misty-eyed men.’  - Sydney Morning Herald
