Companion Card

 Many of the events ticketed by ticketLiNK support the Queensland Government's Companion Card Program. 

This program promotes fair ticketing for people with a disability who have a lifelong need for the significant assistance of a companion to attend venues and activities.

Cardholders present their card when purchasing tickets at participating businesses and are issued with a second ticket for their companion at no charge.

Businesses affiliated with the program absorb the costs associated with the companion ticket. The companion ticket is exempt from all booking fees. The program is not a discount scheme, concession or benefit.

The Cairns Civic Theatre and Tanks Arts Centre are participating businesses, and most events and performances held at these venues accept the Companion Card.

Other events ticketed by ticketLiNK may accept the Companion Card at the discretion of the event promoter.  Please look for the Companion Card logo on event pages to see if the card will be accepted for the event you would like to attend.
