What is ticketLiNK?

ticketLiNK is a fully computerised ticketing agency based in Cairns, providing ticketing services for entertainment, sporting and other events.

You can utilise ticketLiNK to sell tickets to your event, or you can buy tickets for an extensive range of events in Cairns and North Queensland

ticketLiNK is staffed by friendly, service oriented industry trained professionals and utilizes the proven ProVenueMax Ticketing System used in many types of venues all over the world.

Tickets can be purchased at our main ticketLiNK office, located in the foyer of the Cairns Civic Theatre, from one of our ticketLiNK agents who are part of the ticketLiNK network extending across the Atherton Tablelands, by phone, mail or fax.

Who owns ticketLiNK?

ticketLiNK is operated by the Cairns Civic Theatre, which is operated by the Cairns Regional Council.

Does ticketLiNK set the ticket price?

The individual promoter and organisations set the ticket prices. This includes the option of concession prices. They are also responsible for the advertising of their events.

Why does ticketLiNK charge fees for an exchanged/refunded tickets?

Like any business, we have to charge for the services we provide. ticketLiNK receives only the Booking Fee component of any ticket price. In the case of Exchanges / Refunds this Booking Fee, and a Refund Fee, must be charged to recover costs.

Why does ticketLiNK require personal details such as an address and phone number when I buy a ticket?

This information, although not compulsory, can be helpful for a number of reasons:

• If your tickets are stolen/lost we are able to trace them to you
• If an error occurs that we were unaware of at the time of sale we can correct it
• If we need to change your seating, we can contact you before the performance, ensuring a hassle-free event for all.
• If a show is cancelled we are able to contact you regarding your refund

Although these occurrences may be rare events, it does help us to serve you better.
